Detox Smoothies

There are many reasons why detoxing is good for the body. If you detox your body regularly you will find many benefits to doing so.


Benefits to detoxing:


1. Reduce inflammation

2. Boost energy

3. Support Digestion and weight loss

4. Cleanse the liver

5. Promote healthy skin

Here are some smoothies ideas I made when I did my 21 day cleanse detox. It help me lose 13lbs and helped with some of my stomach issues I was having. During quarantine I was eating a lot of unhealthy food. After dealing with many days of being bloated, I decide it was time to reset my system and detox. That's when I decided to do some research and came across using smoothies to detox. I am a vegan and like to keep to natural ingredients, so smoothies were a prefect way to achieve that. I made three to four smoothies a day for 21 days. I kept my workouts to moderate lifting as I wasn't consuming enough calories a day. After the 21 days I felt better then ever. The Anti-Bloat Smoothie

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup coconut water

• 1 banana

• 1 large cucumber, sliced

• 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced

• handful of ice


Detox Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 1 frozen sliced very ripe banana, previously peeled & sliced

• 1/4 cup almond milk (or your favorite milk such as skim, 1%, soy, cashew, coconut, etc)

• 1 and 1/4 cups chopped pineapple

• 1 peach, peeled and sliced

• 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or regular yogurt – plain or flavor of your choice)

• 1 – 2 cups fresh spinach

• Optional: juice + zest of 1 lime (great flavor!)



Detox Green Cleansing Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup of water

• 1 cup fresh spinach leaves

• 1 kiwi

• 1/2 inch fresh ginger, peeled and minced

• 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

• 1 green apple



Cleanse & Detox Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 1 apple organic

• 1 lemon juiced

• 1 cup kale

• 1 celery stalk

• 1/3 cup flat-leaf parsley or cilantro

• 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds

• 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

• 1 1/4 cups chilled water



5-Ingredient Detox Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 1 cup frozen berries

• 1 cup organic spinach or kale

• 1/2 cup bananas (previously peeled, sliced & frozen)

• 1 Tbsp flaxseed meal

• 1 cup fruit juice (I mixed pomegranate & orange = my faves)

• 2 Tbsp silken tofu (optional)



Purple Detox Smoothie

Ingredients

• 1 cup non-dairy milk or water

• 1/2 cup red cabbage

• 1 ripe banana

• 1/2 cup blueberries

• 2 leaves medium kale chopped



Kale-Ginger Detox Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 1 ripe banana peeled and frozen

• ½ cup frozen blueberries

• 2 teaspoons ginger peeled and finely grated

• 2 cups kale leaves loosely packed

• 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

• 1 tablespoon chia seeds

• 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

• 2 teaspoons to 1 tablespoon raw honey



Triple Berry Chia Detox Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup chia seeds

• 2 cups water

• 2 cups organic frozen strawberries, thawed

• 2 cups organic frozen blackberries, thawed

• 1 1/3 cups organic frozen raspberries, thawed

• 2 large bananas, peeled and cut into thirds

• 1/4 cup agave (optional)



Vegan Detox Green Monster Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 3/4 cup frozen strawberries.

• 1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and sliced

• 1 large frozen banana, broken into pieces

• 1 cup vanilla almond milk (or alternate milk)

• 1 1/2 cups kale, loosely packed, stems removed (you can also use spinach)

• Large handful of spinach


Detox Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 1/2 Banana.

• 1/4 cucumber

• 1 cup spinach

• 1 cup almond milk (or alternate milk)

• 1 tsp chia seed

• 1 cup Blueberries

• 1 tsp lemon juice

• Ginger (to your liking)



Green Energy Detox

Ingredients:

• 1 banana, frozen

• 2 celery stalks, chopped

• 2 handfuls kale

• 1/2 tablespoon all-natural, organic peanut butter

• 1/2 apple, chopped (red or green)

• 1/2 cucumber, diced

• 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

• 3/4 cup ice



Kiwi Detox Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 2 kiwi (peel on or off)

• 1/2 cup pineapple or half banana

• 1/2 cup cucumber

• A handful of spinach or other leafy green

• 1/2 lemon or lime, peeled

• 1-2 tbsp chia seeds

• 1 cup water, coconut water or nut milk



Pineapple Nutmeg Smoothies

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup baby carrots, or roughly chopped

• 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh, frozen, or canned)

• 1/4 packed cup mashed overripe banana

• 2 Tablespoons coconut milk

• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

• 3/4 cup pineapple juice (or other liquid; see note)

• Ice cubes, (optional)
